Machine Operator

About the Role

Our client is looking for dedicated and skilled Machine Operators to join their busy production facility in Cardiff . In this role, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining various manufacturing machines to ensure efficient production of high-quality goods. Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery according to standard operating procedures.
• Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain product quality and output.
• Monitor materials and report any shortages or quality issues to supervisors.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines rigorously to maintain a safe working environment.
• Keep work areas clean and organized, adhering to 5S principles.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to understand and follow technical instructions and manuals.
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime as required.
• Basic understanding of mechanical principles is an advantage.
