About the Role

Our client requires a skilled and motivated Machine Operator to join their production team in Belfast . This role involves the safe and efficient operation of specialized manufacturing machinery to produce components according to strict specifications. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery, as well as performing quality checks on finished products. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of operational procedures to ensure maximum efficiency and output.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust manufacturing machinery according to production schedules and specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and conduct routine quality checks on output.
• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to ensure smooth operation.
• Maintain accurate production logs and report any issues or deviations.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet targets and optimize workflow.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating industrial machinery in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer literacy for data entry and reporting.
