About the Role
Our client is seeking a reliable and skilled Machine Operator to join their production team in Belfast . This role involves operating and maintaining various manufacturing machines to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely. You will be responsible for setting up machines, monitoring their performance, and performing routine checks to ensure optimal operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to follow instructions precisely, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. This is a hands-on position critical to the continuous output of the facility and the quality of the finished goods produced.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor manufacturing machinery according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Perform routine machine setup , adjustments, and basic maintenance to ensure smooth operation.
- Inspect products during operation to identify defects and ensure they meet quality specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and production area.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Report any machine malfunctions or quality issues to the shift supervisor immediately.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar hands-on manufacturing role.
- Ability to understand and follow technical instructions and operational manuals .
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for machine operation.
- Strong awareness of workplace safety and commitment to following safety procedures.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
- Good attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
