About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled and diligent Machine Operator to join their manufacturing team in Plymouth . In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of production machinery, ensuring that products are manufactured to the highest standards. You will perform routine checks, troubleshoot minor issues, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the production line. Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain production machinery according to operational procedures and safety guidelines.
• Perform routine quality checks on manufactured products, identifying and reporting any defects or inconsistencies.
• Ensure the smooth and continuous operation of machinery, performing basic maintenance and cleaning as required.
• Adjust machine settings and parameters as needed to meet production specifications and quality standards.
• Collaborate with maintenance and supervisory staff to report and resolve any equipment malfunctions or production issues.
• Maintain accurate production records and logs, including output, material usage, and quality data.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of machine operation, safety procedures, and quality control principles.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
• Good communication skills to report issues and work effectively with team members.
