Location: Snodland, Kent Salary: Up to £30,000 Shift Pattern: 4 on , 4 off (6am – 6pm) Alexander Steele are supporting a Global manufacturing business who are seeking a Machine Operator to operate and monitor production machinery safely and efficiently, ensuring products are manufactured to the required quality standards while achieving production, efficiency, and waste targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production machinery in line with production plans and specifications.
• Carry out pre-start checks, line set-up, and routine cleaning activities.
• Prepare and replenish raw materials, packaging, and consumables as required.
• Monitor machine performance and resolve minor stoppages to minimise downtime.
• Perform quality checks and ensure products meet required standards.
• Complete production records and documentation accurately.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, housekeeping, and health & safety.
• Support the achievement of production, OEE, and waste reduction targets.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient production operations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support training activities where required. Skills & Experience
• Experience operating machinery within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Good understanding of health & safety, quality, and hygiene standards.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and under pressure. xwwtmva
• Basic IT and record-keeping skills.
• Food manufacturing experience and basic food hygiene knowledge are advantageous...
