Feeding Machine Operative
Blackburn - 12.71 per hour - Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm
We are currently recruiting for a Feeding Machine Operative to join a busy manufacturing facility in Blackburn. This is a hands‑on, repetitive production role that would suit candidates with previous experience in metalworking, manufacturing, or production environments.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Feeding metal components into machinery safely and efficiently
- Carrying out repetitive production tasks to meet output targets
- Manual handling of materials and finished products
- Performing quality checks on items throughout the production process
- Reporting any faults, defects, or machine issues to supervisors
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
- Experience working with metal products/materials is essential
- Ability to carry out repetitive tasks consistently and accurately
- Comfortable with manual handling duties
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
