About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Setter Operator to join their production team in Portsmouth . Key Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate production machinery according to specifications and production schedules.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Monitor machine output and product quality, making adjustments as necessary to meet standards.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products and raw materials.
• Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Train and guide less experienced operators on machine operation and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Machine Setter Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining production machinery.
