It's a shift like no other centre you will cover various indoor roles in a warehouse environment. On your feet and keeping up the pace. Changing from one task to another along the sorting chain, you could be unloading mail from vans, moving it around in trolleys, sorting parcels and letters manually or operating machinery. A mail centre can process over a million items in a shift and you'll be a valuable part of making that happen. And you take it in your stride. What we do for you

• A guaranteed hourly rate of £13.68p/h (paid monthly and adjusted to your working hours).
• 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (adjusted to your working hours if below 37 hours a week).

For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-37 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 37 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.

As a Mail Sorter, you're expected to handle election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
