Maintenance & Approved Electrician

£35,000 – £46,000 per annum DOE | Permanent | Full-Time | London & South-East

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Maintenance and Approved Electricians to join a growing and established electrical and facilities management business. You’ll work predominantly across London and the South-East, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a variety of sites.

The Role

You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems, completing planned and reactive maintenance and ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with current regulations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining and repairing electrical systems in line with IET Wiring Regulations

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance

• Supporting major and minor maintenance works

• Completing risk assessments and following safe systems of work

• Liaising with clients, facilities teams and site staff

• Completing job documentation using mobile and paper-based systems

• Maintaining high standards of health, safety and compliance

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• City & Guilds 2330 Level 2 & 3 (or equivalent)

• C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent)

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

• ECS Gold Card, or full qualifications required to obtain one

• Full UK Driving Licence

• Clean DBS record

• Good computer literacy and confidence using mobile devices

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Experience working within commercial or educational environments is desirable.
