About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Maintenance Engineer to oversee the upkeep of industrial equipment in the Milton Keynes area. This role is essential for maintaining operational efficiency and safety across multiple facilities. You will be responsible for the full spectrum of maintenance activities, from preventative servicing to emergency repairs, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules. This is a hands-on position that requires a keen eye for detail and a systematic approach to problem-solving, contributing directly to the smooth running of our client's operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for all industrial machinery.
• Perform diagnostic testing and identify root causes of equipment failures.
• Conduct timely and effective repairs on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, parts inventory, and equipment performance.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance with minimal impact on output.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer, preferably within an industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and manuals.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment calibration.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
