Maintenance Engineer - Industrial Equipment

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to oversee the upkeep and repair of industrial equipment in Belfast . This hands-on role is critical for ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of our facilities. You will be responsible for diagnosing and rectifying faults, conducting planned preventative maintenance, and ensuring all machinery operates safely and effectively. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and a commitment to maintaining high standards of operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on a variety of industrial machinery.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults in a timely manner.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and ensure rapid restoration of service.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
• Identify potential equipment failures and implement proactive solutions to prevent downtime.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the maintenance workshop and production areas.

Requirements

• Proven experience in an industrial maintenance engineering role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
