producing high-volume, high-quality chilled products for major UK retailers. The site has been operating for decades, is financially stable, and is now pushing major upgrades across machinery, automation and site-wide performance.

The role

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll be part of a tight-knit engineering team keeping a busy food factory running smoothly. You'll split your time between: Reactive breakdown work across production, packaging and utilities

Planned and preventative maintenance to reduce downtime

Supporting machinery upgrades, line improvements and new equipment installs

Ensuring hygiene, quality and safety standards are met at all times

Driving continuous improvement across the plant

It's a role for someone who likes getting stuck in, solving problems fast and seeing the impact of their work on output.

What you need Apprentice trained (Electrical or Mechanical)

NVQ3 / ONC / HNC in a relevant engineering discipline

Food, FMCG, automotive or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience

Strong understanding of CI tools, TPM and modern maintenance practices

Confident working with safe systems of work: LOTO, PUWER, permits

Good GMP awareness and a positive, hands-on approach
