I am looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy food manufacturing site in Wellingborough, where you'll play a key role in keeping production running, reducing downtime and driving equipment reliability.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for keeping a range of manufacturing and packaging equipment running efficiently.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Carry out PPM and proactive maintenance to maximise equipment reliability and prevent breakdowns
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults across production and packaging machinery
• Respond efficiently to breakdowns, minimising downtime and disruption to production
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and improve overall equipment performance
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify recurring faults and implement lasting solutions
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and update the CMMS system accordingly
• Ensure all maintenance activities meet food safety, engineering, quality and H&S requirements
• Work collaboratively with Production, Quality and Operations to maintain a safe, efficient and reliable manufacturing environment

You'll ideally be:

• Apprentice trained with an NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, BTEC or equivalent
• Experienced within a manufacturing environment
• Strong electrically and mechanically, with excellent fault-finding skills
