Maintenance Engineer

Contract Maintenance Engineer Required – Immediate Start Available

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer to provide immediate cover at our client site based in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire.

This is a small, light-engineering site with one engineer normally on site. The current engineer is out of the business so we need an experienced engineer who can work independently and provide immediate cover.

Location: Sutton-in-ashfield, Nottinghamshire

Start Date: Immediate

• Monday to Friday DAYS 8.00am – 4.00pm

The Site:

• Small site where you will be responsible for maintaining a granulation

machine

• Production environment similar to the plastics industry

As a Contract Maintenance Engineer, your role will include:

• Reactive breakdown support and fault finding / Planned preventative maintenance
• Fault finding and repair across electrical and mechanical systems
• Working efficiently within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and compliance

What we’re looking for:

• Strong Electrical bias maintenance engineer – essential as only engineer on site
• Experience of manufacturing environments
• An engineer who is reliable, professional, and take pride in their work
• Calm, solution-focused approach when dealing with breakdowns and pressure
