Job Description
Overview
Maintenance Engineer role based in Weymouth, Dorset. A hands-on engineer is sought to fault find, maintain, and work on a variety of industrial machinery within a stable and supportive manufacturing environment. You will perform planned preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and breakdown repairs to keep plant reliability and minimise downtime.
Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and breakdown repairs across a range of specialist production and packaging equipment.
- Work as part of a small engineering team to maintain plant reliability and minimise downtime.
- Assist with improving maintenance strategies and asset performance in a fast-paced production environment.
Non-Negotiable Requirements
- Maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
- A recognised engineering qualification.
Desirable Requirements
- Electrical engineering qualification.
- Experience working with PLC-controlled machinery.
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Multi-skilled maintenance background.
- Experience working on printing, packaging, converting, or automated production equipment.
