Maintenance Engineer – £60,000 OTE | 4 on 4 Off
Location: Measham, Leicestershire
Salary: £57,000 basic + up to £3,000 production bonus (£60,000 OTE)
Shift: 4 on 4 off, Days & Nights
Overtime: 1.5x and 2x rates
Pension: Up to 10% company contribution

The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of a wide range of automated production equipment.
The site operates 24/7 and includes:
ABB and FANUC robotic systems
Automated packaging machinery
Conveyors
Mixing machinery
Presses
Kilns
Automated production lines
Mechanical and electromechanical equipment
Your responsibilities will include:
Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
Reactive maintenance and breakdown response
Mechanical fault finding down to component level
Mechanical strip-down and rebuild
Planned and remedial repairs
Installation and project work
Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
Continuous improvement activities
Supporting improvements to equipment reliability and production output
About You
We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer with a strong mechanical background and previous experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
You should have:
Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a factory or manufacturing environment
Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Experience fault finding down to component level
Experience with mechanical maintenance, repair and rebuild
A recognised Level 3 engineering qualification or above, such as City & Guilds, NVQ, BTEC, HNC or HND
Flexibility to work a 4 on 4 off Days & Nights shift pattern
A proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement
Training & Development
The business genuinely invests in its engineers and supports long-term career development. Engineers at the site have been supported through additional qualifications and training, including 18th Edition and PLC training.
If there is additional training or a qualification that could benefit you and the business, there is a genuine willingness to invest.
