Job Description
I have a fantastic opportunity for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer to join a heavy, high-volume production site in Bilston near Wolverhampton. My client is well established within its field and produces some big brand products for the likes of Screwfix, B&Q and Wickes. They are looking for a mechanically bias maintenance engineer who will have worked in a heavy engineering environment.
You will be working a continental shift pattern, and you will be paid a lifestyle bonus of £48.77 for every weekend day worked (excluding overtime). This will take your salary to around £52,833.64
Maintenance Engineer Benefits
- £49,725.96 (£52,833.64 with lifestyle payment).
- OT at premium rates (x1.5).

Maintenance Engineer Duties
- Continental shift 2 days - 2 nights.
- Make improvements to production.
- To always maintain manufacturing machinery.
- To ensure all data recording and feedback is completed accurately and on time.
- Preventive maintenance.
- Installation work where necessary.
- To maintain safe working practices at all times.
- To undertake training as required.
- Mechanical and electrical fault finding.
Maintenance Engineer Requirements
- Recognised Engineering Qualifications.
- Hydraulics and Pneumatics.
- Siemens S7 understanding.
- Heavy engineering background.
- Welding (advantageous).
- Strong fault-finding abilities.
This Maintenance Engineer position is commutable from: Wolverhampton, Walsall, Dudley, Bilston, Wednesbury. Cannock, Stourbridge, and surrounding areas.
