A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Plumber to join our team on a prestigious contract in Nottingham.
This is a Monday-Friday position working a split-shift pattern:
06:00–14:30
11:00–19:30
The role also includes participation in a weekend working rota of 1 weekend in 4.

Purpose:
As a Maintenance Plumber at Smart Managed Solutions, you will be responsible for ensuring all plumbing building systems are maintained to the highest standard throughout.
To carry out PPM tasks and reactive and breakdown works to all plumbing systems within the site. Engineers must be able to demonstrate relevant knowledge of Pipework, Hot & Cold-Water Systems & Pumps.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Inspect, diagnose, and repair plumbing systems in commercial building
Fix leaks, blockages, and broken fixtures (toilets, taps, sinks, urinals).
Repair or replace pipes, valves, and backflow prevention devices.
Conduct scheduled checks and routine servicing of plumbing systems to prevent failures.
Test and maintain pressure systems, hot water units, grease traps, and sewer connections.
Modify or upgrade plumbing systems to meet operational needs or regulatory changes.
Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes, building regulations, and health & safety standards.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, inspections, and compliance reports.
Respond promptly to urgent plumbing issues such as burst pipes, blocked drains, or gas leaks.
Participate in on-call or after-hours emergency service rotations as required.
Education and Training:
Formally trained in Plumbing to City and Guilds Level 2/3 or NVQ Level 2/3
