Contract: Temporary (6 Months Ongoing)
Pay Rate: £18.49 per hour
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts, including occasional nights, weekends, overtime, and bank holidays

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join a world-class manufacturing facility in Congleton. This is an exciting opportunity to work with advanced production equipment, automation, robotics, and Industry 4.0 technologies within a highly innovative manufacturing environment.
As part of the Maintenance team, you will play a key role in ensuring production equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably while contributing to continuous improvement and predictive maintenance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out reactive maintenance and fault-finding on electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems
Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimise production downtime
Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures, including Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO)
Update maintenance records using CMMS systems
Support continuous improvement, TPM, and reliability initiatives
Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams
What We're Looking For
Experience within a manufacturing, production, or industrial maintenance environment
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
A logical and methodical approach to problem-solving
Good IT skills and the ability to use maintenance management systems
Understanding of Health & Safety procedures and risk assessments
Ability to work effectively within a team
Desirable Experience
HNC/HND in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
Experience with PLCs, automation, or robotics
Knowledge of TPM, Lean Manufacturing, or Continuous Improvement methodologies
Interest in Industry 4.0 technologies, AI, and predictive maintenance
