Management Accountant

About the Role

Our client is recruiting for a dedicated Management Accountant to join their finance department on a fully remote basis. This pivotal role involves providing crucial management information to support strategic business decisions. You will be instrumental in financial planning, performance analysis, and driving efficiency across various departments. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
• Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts in collaboration with department heads.
• Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations for cost reduction and profit improvement.
• Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor business performance.
• Manage the overheads, accruals, and prepayments processes.
• Assist with ad-hoc financial projects and analysis as required by senior management.

Requirements

• Part-qualified or fully qualified Management Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
• Proven experience in management accounting, financial planning, and analysis.
• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and complex formula use.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for remote collaboration.
• Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines consistently in a remote role .
