About the Role
Our client, a progressive and innovative company based in Brighton , is seeking a proactive Management Accountant to enhance their financial planning and performance analysis capabilities. This role is central to providing management with the insights needed to make informed strategic decisions. You will be responsible for producing detailed management accounts, budgets, and forecasts, along with carrying out insightful financial analysis. This fully remote position allows you to contribute effectively from anywhere, joining a dynamic team that values collaboration and analytical prowess.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including detailed variance analysis against budget and forecast.
- Develop and manage the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
- Analyse financial performance, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for senior management and other stakeholders.
- Support the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.
- Contribute to ad-hoc financial projects and analysis as required.
Requirements
- Part-qualified or newly qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in management accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills for financial modelling.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to a remote team based near Brighton .
