Management Accountant

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and forward-thinking Management Accountant to join their finance department on a fully remote basis. This role will be instrumental in providing crucial financial insights, supporting strategic planning, and enhancing financial reporting processes. You will work independently and collaboratively with a distributed team, contributing to the company's financial health and operational efficiency from your home office.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
• Develop and maintain budgets and financial forecasts.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and year-end accounts.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Support the finance team with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Qualified or nearing qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in a management accounting role.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage workload effectively in a remote setting.
