Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including detailed variance analysis against budget and forecast.
- Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide insightful reports and recommendations to senior management.
- Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and support external audits.
- Develop and improve management reporting systems and processes to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.
- Collaborate with departmental managers to understand their financial needs and provide support and guidance.
Requirements
- Part-qualified or fully qualified CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Proven experience in a management accounting role, with a strong understanding of management accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining financial information to non-finance personnel.
