Management Accountant

Our client is a well-established NI owned business with 50+ years trading experience. The business operates with extremely high revenue and strong professional standards that give opportunity for internal growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for a new or recently qualified accountant looking to take the next step in their career. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial information, strengthening internal controls and supporting the wider business with analysis and process improvements.

The Role

• Support the production of monthly financial reporting and management accounts.
• Maintain accurate financial records and complete key reconciliations.
• Assist with budgeting, cashflow and financial planning.
• Support year-end processes and external audit requirements.
• Work closely with budget holders and other departments to provide financial insight.
• Help strengthen financial controls and improve processes across the business.
• Provide support across wider Finance activities as required.

About You

• ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CPA qualified, or equivalent
• Commercially aware with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Confident analysing data and presenting findings.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
• A strong communicator
• Comfortable working collaboratively with colleagues across Finance and the wider business.
• Able to work effectively to tight deadlines
