About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Management Consultant with specialized knowledge in the Financial Services sector to join their team in Plymouth . You will advise leading financial institutions on critical challenges, including regulatory compliance, digital transformation, operational efficiency, and strategic growth. This role requires a strong understanding of the financial services landscape and the ability to deliver impactful solutions. While this role is primarily office-based in Plymouth, occasional travel to client sites may be required, offering a blend of stability and diverse project exposure.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert consulting services to financial services clients on strategic and operational matters.
- Analyse complex financial processes, regulatory requirements, and market dynamics.
- Develop and implement solutions for areas such as risk management, compliance, customer experience, and digital banking.
- Manage client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders within financial institutions.
- Contribute to the development of the firm's expertise and offerings within the financial services industry.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in management consulting or within the financial services industry.
- Deep understanding of financial services regulations (e.g., Basel III, MiFID II) and market trends.
- Proven ability to manage client engagements and deliver high-quality project outcomes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
