About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented Management Consultant with expertise in Financial Strategy to join their team in Plymouth . This role involves advising clients on a range of financial matters, including financial planning and analysis, capital allocation, M&A strategy, and performance management. You will play a key role in helping businesses optimize their financial health, make informed investment decisions, and achieve sustainable growth. This position offers the opportunity to work with a variety of clients across different industries in the South West region, addressing their most pressing financial challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic financial plans and models.
• Advise clients on capital structure optimization, funding strategies, and investment appraisal.
• Support clients through mergers, acquisitions, and divestiture processes.
• Analyze financial performance, identify key drivers, and recommend improvement actions.
• Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and scenario analyses.
• Communicate complex financial insights and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial consulting, corporate finance, investment banking, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance principles, valuation techniques, and financial modeling.
• Proven ability to analyze financial statements and performance data.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience working with senior management.
• Relevant degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field; professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, ACCA) are highly desirable.
