Management Consultant - Operations Excellence

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated Management Consultant focused on Operations Excellence to join their team in Bristol . You will help clients optimize their operational processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs across various business functions. This role involves hands-on analysis, problem-solving, and implementation support to drive tangible improvements. You will work with clients to identify bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and implement best practices in areas like Lean, Six Sigma, and supply chain management, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and delivering measurable value.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze client operational processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies for operational excellence, including Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Lead process mapping, redesign, and implementation projects.
• Quantify operational improvements and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate with client teams to ensure successful adoption of new processes and tools.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on findings and recommendations.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in management consulting or operations management.
• Proven experience implementing Lean, Six Sigma, or other operational excellence frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process optimization.
• Experience in project management and leading change initiatives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field; certifications like Black Belt are advantageous.
