Management Consultant - Operations Improvement

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated Management Consultant with a focus on Operations Improvement to join their team in Leeds . You will be responsible for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of client operations by analyzing existing processes, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing best practices. This role requires a proactive individual who can collaborate with operational teams to drive sustainable improvements in productivity, cost reduction, and quality. You will play a key role in helping businesses across Yorkshire optimize their core functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze current operational processes to identify inefficiencies, waste, and areas for enhancement.
• Design and implement process improvements using methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.
• Develop performance metrics and dashboards to track operational effectiveness.
• Facilitate change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new operational procedures.
• Collaborate with supply chain, manufacturing, and service delivery teams to implement solutions.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on findings and recommendations to client leadership.

Requirements

• Degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in operational consulting or operational management roles.
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing , Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with operational staff and management.
• Experience within the Leeds business community is advantageous.
