Our client is looking for a dynamic and analytical Management Consultant specializing in Strategy & Operations to join their growing team in Birmingham . This role focuses on advising clients on optimizing their business processes, improving operational efficiency, and developing robust strategic frameworks. You will work collaboratively with client teams to understand their unique challenges and implement practical, sustainable solutions. The successful candidate will be adept at data analysis, process re-engineering, and strategic planning, contributing significantly to our client's reputation for excellence in management advisory services.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze current business operations and identify opportunities for efficiency gains and cost reduction.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to support client growth and market competitiveness.
- Redesign business processes and workflows to enhance productivity and streamline operations.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with client teams to gather information and drive consensus.
- Prepare detailed reports and recommendations, presenting findings to client leadership.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring client satisfaction.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in management consulting, operations improvement, or strategic planning.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with proficiency in data modeling.
- Experience with process mapping, lean methodologies, or Six Sigma is advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Engineering, or Finance.
- Ability to travel to client sites as required for project work in and around Birmingham .
