Management Consultant - Technology Strategy

About the Role

Our client is seeking a forward-thinking Management Consultant with a specialization in Technology Strategy to join their team in Derby . This role involves advising clients on how to leverage technology to achieve their business objectives, including IT strategy development, digital transformation, and technology roadmapping. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to align technology investments with business goals, improve IT performance, and drive innovation. This hybrid position offers flexibility, combining remote work with client-facing engagements in the Derbyshire area.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine IT strategies and roadmaps aligned with clients' overarching business objectives.
• Advise clients on the selection, implementation, and optimization of enterprise technologies (e.g., ERP, CRM, Cloud solutions).
• Assess current IT infrastructure and capabilities, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
• Lead projects focused on digital transformation, cloud adoption, and data strategy.
• Analyze technology trends and best practices to provide clients with strategic insights and recommendations.
• Manage project delivery, ensuring successful outcomes and client satisfaction.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in technology consulting , IT strategy, or a similar advisory role.
• Strong understanding of current technology trends, including cloud computing, AI, data analytics, cybersecurity, and software development lifecycles.
• Proven ability to develop strategic technology plans and roadmaps for diverse organizations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• Must be comfortable working in a hybrid capacity, performing remote tasks and attending client meetings and site visits in and around Derby .
