Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement automated manufacturing systems, including robotics, PLCs, and control systems.
• Optimize existing automated processes to improve throughput, reduce cycle times, and minimize errors.
• Troubleshoot and maintain automated equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with R&D and design teams on new product introductions and manufacturing process design.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer with a focus on automation.
• Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and HMI development.
• Experience with robotic systems (e.g., FANUC, KUKA) and their integration.
• Strong understanding of control systems , sensors, and industrial networking.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex engineering projects in Sheffield .
