About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and innovative Manufacturing Engineer to join their team, offering a fully remote working arrangement. This role is focused on the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes and systems to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement efficient manufacturing processes and production systems.
- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost, and quality.
- Develop and implement solutions to production problems, troubleshoot manufacturing issues, and optimize workflows.
- Create and maintain process documentation, including SOPs and manufacturing instructions.
- Collaborate virtually with operations, quality, and R&D teams to ensure seamless integration of new products and processes.
- Evaluate and recommend new manufacturing technologies and equipment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a similar production environment.
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, VSM).
- Proficiency in CAD software for design and simulation is preferred.
- Experience with statistical analysis and quality control methods.
- Excellent virtual communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and manage projects effectively in a remote setting.
