Manufacturing Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and results-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join their production facility in Stoke-on-Trent . This role is fundamental to optimizing our manufacturing processes, ensuring high-quality output, and driving efficiency on the shop floor. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing systems and equipment. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of production methodologies and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving manufacturing challenges, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes and assembly methods.
• Design, install, and commission new manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Analyze production data to identify areas for waste reduction and efficiency improvement.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure product consistency and adherence to standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering .
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
• Proficiency with CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
• Experience with process optimization and problem-solving techniques.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
