Manufacturing Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and innovative Manufacturing Engineer to join their dedicated team in Bradford . This role is essential for driving improvements in production processes, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring the quality and reliability of manufactured products. You will work closely with production teams, R&D, and quality assurance to troubleshoot issues, implement new technologies, and optimize existing workflows. This is a hands-on position for an individual passionate about manufacturing excellence and continuous improvement within a dynamic industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes and systems to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Analyze production data to identify root causes of problems and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability of new products.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues on the production floor, providing timely solutions.
• Manage projects related to process improvements, equipment upgrades, and new technology implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a production environment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing principles, lean manufacturing techniques, and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in CAD software and experience with process simulation tools is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with various departments.
