Manufacturing Engineer

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking an innovative and analytical Manufacturing Engineer to enhance their production capabilities, remotely supporting their operations near Oxford . This role focuses on optimizing manufacturing processes, developing new production methods, and ensuring the efficient and cost-effective output of high-quality products. Key Responsibilities

• Analyse manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
• Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to ensure seamless product realization.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new product introductions and process changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer with a strong understanding of production methodologies.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and process simulation tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong remote collaboration and communication capabilities.
