About the Role

Our client is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer to enhance their production processes in Sheffield . This role is vital for optimizing manufacturing efficiency, improving product quality, and ensuring the smooth operation of production machinery. You will be involved in designing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing systems and equipment, working closely with production teams to troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Optimize existing production lines and machinery to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance quality.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues with production equipment and implement timely solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including process instructions and equipment manuals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
