About the Role
Our client is seeking a motivated Manufacturing Operations Analyst to support their continuous improvement efforts, serving facilities including those near Nottingham . This role is focused on analyzing manufacturing data, identifying trends, and developing recommendations to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality. You will work closely with engineering and production teams, leveraging data analytics and operational insights to drive strategic decisions. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret manufacturing data to identify performance trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop reports and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for production and operations.
- Collaborate with Industrial Engineers and production staff to understand operational challenges and propose solutions.
- Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and other continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Operations Research, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing analysis, operations support, or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and business intelligence software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing concepts and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, supporting teams that may be based in or around Nottingham .
