Our client is looking for a results-driven Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead their production facilities in Oxford . This key role involves overseeing all aspects of the manufacturing process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are consistently met. You will lead a dedicated production team, implement lean manufacturing principles, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize output and reduce costs. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize all manufacturing processes to meet production targets and quality standards.
- Lead, train, and develop a team of production supervisors and line operators.
- Implement and champion lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee production scheduling, resource planning, and inventory management within the manufacturing unit.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on the production floor.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in manufacturing operations management, with a strong focus on production leadership.
- Proven track record in implementing lean manufacturing principles and driving process improvements.
- Strong understanding of production planning, quality control, and supply chain management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing budgets and operational costs within a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
