About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join their state-of-the-art facility in Nottingham . This crucial role involves the design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality. You will work closely with production teams, R&D, and quality assurance to drive continuous improvement and support new product introductions. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and improve existing manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Design and implement new production lines and equipment.
- Develop and refine process documentation, including SOPs and work instructions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product development and introduction.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering .
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software and process simulation tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate technical information clearly.
