Key Responsibilities

• Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes and tooling to enhance productivity and product quality.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure all processes meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Train production staff on new processes and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
• Utilize data analysis tools to monitor process performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience in a Manufacturing Process Engineer role, with a strong understanding of production environments.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies .
• Experience with process simulation, data analysis , and problem-solving techniques.
• Knowledge of various manufacturing techniques (e.g., machining, assembly, fabrication) is essential.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a Bradford -based manufacturing setting.
