About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and proactive Manufacturing Shift Supervisor to join their operations in Birmingham . In this role, you will be responsible for leading a production shift, ensuring that all manufacturing activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a crucial role in supervising the day-to-day operations, supporting your team, and contributing to the overall productivity and success of the plant. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff during your assigned shift.
• Monitor production output and quality, ensuring targets are met and any deviations are addressed promptly.
• Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, company policies, and operating procedures.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime and waste.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role within a manufacturing or production setting.
• Strong understanding of production processes and quality control principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and make sound decisions.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a factory environment.
