About the Role

Our client seeks a dedicated Manufacturing Systems Engineer to join their expanding team in Belfast . This role is central to designing, implementing, and optimizing the systems and processes that underpin our manufacturing operations. You will work closely with production, quality, and IT departments to ensure seamless integration and maximum efficiency of all manufacturing technologies. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer with a keen eye for detail and a passion for improving manufacturing workflows, contributing directly to the operational success of the company in Northern Ireland within the industrial engineering sector.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement advanced manufacturing systems and automation solutions.
Analyze production data to identify trends, optimize performance, and reduce waste.
Develop and maintain process documentation, including P&IDs, SOPs, and control strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies and equipment to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards in the manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering .
Minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or systems engineering.
Proven experience with automation , process control, and data acquisition systems.
Proficiency in relevant software such as PLC programming, SCADA systems, and simulation tools.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team in Belfast .
