About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled and hands-on Manufacturing Technician to support their production operations in Bristol . This role is essential for the day-to-day functioning of the manufacturing facility, involving the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of production machinery. You will ensure that equipment runs efficiently and safely, contributing to the consistent production of high-quality goods. The ideal candidate will have practical experience with industrial machinery and a strong commitment to operational excellence within the South West England manufacturing landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor various manufacturing machines and equipment according to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs on machinery.
• Respond to equipment malfunctions, troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary adjustments to restore functionality.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products and report any defects or inconsistencies.
• Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
• Assist in the setup and calibration of production equipment as required.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Manufacturing Technician , Machine Operator, or similar role.
• Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical principles related to industrial machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Good troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Strong awareness of health and safety practices in an industrial environment.
• Willingness to work shifts if required and a commitment to reliability.
