Manufacturing Technician

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and reliable Manufacturing Technician to join their production team in Liverpool . This hands-on role involves operating and maintaining various manufacturing equipment to ensure the smooth and efficient production of high-quality goods. You will be responsible for performing routine checks, troubleshooting minor issues, and adhering strictly to safety protocols. The ideal candidate is a motivated individual with a strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to quality and safety in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing machinery according to production schedules and standard operating procedures.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance , cleaning, and basic repairs to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct quality checks on products throughout the manufacturing process, identifying and reporting any defects.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies, participating in safety training.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment malfunctions, escalating complex issues to engineering or maintenance teams.
• Maintain accurate production logs and records of activities performed.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Manufacturing Technician or in a similar production role.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining industrial machinery.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions and production schematics.
• Team player with good communication skills.
