About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled and adaptable Manufacturing Technician to contribute to their operations in Bristol . This role involves hands-on work in setting up, operating, and maintaining various manufacturing equipment, ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently. You will play a key part in troubleshooting machinery issues, performing routine maintenance, and adhering to strict quality and safety protocols. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving, supporting the team in achieving production targets within a hybrid work structure.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain manufacturing machinery and equipment according to production schedules.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues with production equipment.
• Conduct quality checks on manufactured products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and procedures.
• Assist in the training of new team members on equipment operation and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Manufacturing Technician or in a similar hands-on technical role.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery.
• Experience with preventative maintenance procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Commitment to upholding safety standards and quality procedures.
• Willingness to work flexibly as part of a hybrid team, potentially involving some on-site presence.
