- £45,000 + BonusExperience needed: We're seeking an experienced Test Engineer with a strong background in testing and fault-finding electrical and electronic assemblies.
You should understand analogue and digital electronics, manual and automated test equipment, and component-level diagnosis within a manufacturing environment.About the role:An opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Test Engineer to support the testing and diagnostics of electrical and electronic sub-systems and circuit cards.You'll provide technical support from initial development through to production, working closely with manufacturing and design teams to introduce test equipment, resolve failures and ensure products meet time, cost and quality requirements.Key Responsibilities:Support Test Engineering activities from development through to productionTest electrical and electronic assemblies and circuit cardsDiagnose test failures down to component levelSupport the introduction of new test equipment and fixturesProduce test specifications, instructions and technical documentationWork with design teams to improve product testabilitySupport prototype functional and environmental testingContribute to process FMEA and continuous improvement activitiesWhat we need from you:HNC, HND, degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering subjectExperience in the manufacture and testing of analogue and digital electronicsStrong xehkeey knowledge of electrical and electronic measurement and test principlesExperience fault-finding electronic or electro-mechanical assemblies to component levelFamiliarity with manual and automated test equipmentAbility to produce clear test specifications, operator instructions and technical reportsFamiliarity with SAP or MES would be advantageousIf you would like to know more details about the position or want to register your interest, hit apply below.
