About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized Marine Operations Coordinator to manage and oversee the logistical and operational aspects of their marine support activities, working remotely from Plymouth . This role is essential for ensuring the smooth and safe execution of offshore campaigns, coordinating vessels, equipment, and personnel. You will be the central point of contact for all marine-related logistics, liaising with offshore teams, vessel masters, and shore-based support functions. This is a critical role for managing the complex interface between offshore projects and marine resources in the oil and gas industry .

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the scheduling and deployment of marine assets (vessels, barges, helicopters).
• Manage logistics for personnel transfers, equipment, and supplies to offshore installations.
• Ensure compliance with all maritime regulations, safety standards, and permit requirements.
• Liaise with vessel owners, charterers, and marine service providers.
• Develop and implement marine operational plans and risk assessments.
• Monitor vessel performance and provide operational support during offshore campaigns.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in marine logistics, offshore operations coordination, or a related field within the oil and gas industry or maritime sector.
• Strong understanding of offshore vessel operations, marine safety, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in relevant logistics and project management software.
• Proven ability to manage complex supply chains and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
