About the Role
Our client is seeking a data-driven and analytical Marketing Analyst to join their team based in Stoke-on-Trent . This critical role will involve gathering, interpreting, and reporting on marketing data to provide actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making. You will work closely with the marketing team to measure campaign effectiveness, identify trends, and uncover opportunities for growth. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for understanding customer behavior and market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze marketing data from various sources, including web analytics, CRM, and campaign platforms.
- Develop and maintain marketing performance dashboards and reports to track key metrics (KPIs).
- Identify trends, patterns, and insights within marketing data to inform strategy and campaign optimization.
- Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to measure the impact of marketing initiatives.
- Provide recommendations for improving marketing ROI and customer acquisition strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to define measurement frameworks and ensure data accuracy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related analytical field.
- Proven experience as a Marketing Analyst or in a similar data analysis role.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and digital marketing channels.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to stakeholders.
