About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly analytical Marketing Analyst to join their fully remote marketing team. This role is pivotal in measuring the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing data-driven insights, and informing strategic decisions. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting marketing data from various sources to identify trends, measure ROI, and uncover opportunities for optimization. The ideal candidate has a strong quantitative background, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex data in a clear and concise manner within a remote work setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze marketing data from various channels, including digital advertising, social media, email, and website analytics.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key marketing performance indicators (KPIs).
- Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, assessing ROI and identifying areas for improvement.
- Conduct in-depth analysis to understand customer behavior, market trends, and campaign effectiveness.
- Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to the marketing team and leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate data tracking and reporting across all marketing initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Marketing Analyst or in a similar data-focused role.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with marketing analytics platforms like Google Analytics.
- Excellent understanding of statistical concepts and data modeling.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences in a remote environment.
