About the Role
Our client seeks a highly analytical and insightful Marketing Analyst to join their data-centric marketing department in Southampton . You will be responsible for dissecting marketing campaign performance, identifying key trends, and providing actionable recommendations to optimize strategies and drive business growth. This role is essential for ensuring our marketing investments are effective and that we continuously learn and adapt to market dynamics, working closely with various marketing functions to inform decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, process, and analyse data from various marketing channels (digital, traditional, social media, etc.) to measure campaign effectiveness and ROI.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that visualise key marketing metrics and performance indicators for stakeholders.
- Identify trends, patterns, and insights within the data to provide strategic recommendations for campaign optimization and future marketing initiatives.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
- Collaborate with marketing managers and teams to define campaign goals, track progress, and support data-driven decision-making across all marketing activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Marketing Analyst or in a similar data analysis role within marketing.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent understanding of marketing principles and performance metrics.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, concise, and actionable insights.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work effectively in Southampton .
